The Hijacking

While in and of itself capitalism is not inherently evil it is a convenient tool used by inherently evil people.   Much like guns, while not specifically designed for evil they are often adopted by evil men for evil deeds. What do you do, for there is no changing what’s in a person’ DNA, a man is by virtue genetically predisposed to certain behaviors, human behaviors such as slovenly greed, self hatred, megalomania-cal madness because how much madness do you have to carry to even be associated with what has left this country in the disarray it’s in.  To leave the country and it’s people fending for themselves, starting to resemble a national Katrina, with many American families just as broken and bereft as any of the flood survivors, except this was an economic tsunami orchestrated by forces of man not nature, meaning it should have been stopped but too many people were the beneficiaries.   And just like much of New Orleans today, the country continues to fall, nearly in tatters much of the damage done will leave many areas of the America and it’ people in the same boat, battered, bruised and ultimately on their own.

The country has not belonged to the people for quite some time, but then who doesn’t know this.   Stamped bought and paid for perhaps in some high priced auction or some back door deal made amongst corridors of some cloak room.  Well seeing as how the word has been passed around so fervently and quickly in the past and currently with the witch-hunt like committee meetings to ferret out “them,” why not also apply it where it most fits right now for what could be best described as an act as economic terrorism, the hijacking which sent the country’ economy spiraling into a freefall in the first place with many grinning and laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts.  Is there any question who the joke’s on?  I can say honestly like many of my fellow citizens I’m not laughing right now.  I’m sure we’d all just wish it were just another episode of that old show, Punk’d, sadly it’s not.

Initially economists, pundits, and officials alike declared it only a recession while scratching their heads over the depression like numbers, well finally many decided to tell the truth calling it what it is.  How about nixing the debate altogether by just asking those whom are living it do semantics really matter to their wallet, their very lives, which probably don’t know the difference.  Anyone dare explain how and why the gap between the rich and the poor has widened into a gorge like chasm, as if it were an accident.

Safe to say speaks volumes about a country continuing to promote itself as the richest in the world now boasting a population of poor which of late has seen a marked increase.  I imagine it’s something to be proud of to those it matters to in their ivory towers, many of the same ones who set the triggers in place then launched the attack, as well as those who let it happen despite the signs.

Twins, man and ego cannot, and will not be separated, poster child of dysfunction, specifically those who perpetrated this evil against the country, narcissistic card carrying members.  Better yet literally the walking dead, morally bereft.   It appears it’s mans love affair with his ego that is driving America to it’ ruination, a system that allowed it’ members to gorge themselves without consequence, but now we’re feeling the consequences rippling all across America.  Always been said watch out for home grown terrorism, the kind within your own borders, for instance, the term has been applied to tree huggers and others who rail against polluters amongst us and when they choose the extreme, becoming labeled eco-terrorists.  Question is why should it not also apply to any of those who either directly or in-directly had a hand in orchestrating and or setting the stage for this debacle facing the country, the plundering of America by it’ economic terrorists of which there are many cells.  The argument may be suggested how one consider anyone who participated in hurtling this country into the Great Depression II an economic terrorist.  Merriam’ Dictionary describes it as systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion, while this was more evident show of force than coercion, there can be no denying that for many citizens sitting right now amidst the wreckage of their lives this has been probably nothing short of terrorizing.  And why should America be considered on suicide watch and who’s watching, the act of suicide can be considered in and of itself a very selfishly self destructive act giving no thought to the many left behind.  In this case, segments of the country appear to have been on a deliberate kamikaze style mission aimed at willful destruction, content to take as many down with the ship as possible, namely a large majority of the American people, acceptable collateral damage I suppose in a society that worships capitalism.   Problem is those outside witnessing the self annihilation, and the many left behind namely the future generations for whom may not have much of a country left or one so greatly hallowed out it may not be the place to call home one day.

Given the current climate, behavior  and the conditions,  some of our brethren seem to be hell bent on it.  People, the propaganda machine has always programmed Americans into believing the threats are best feared from those “people” outside the country when the truth be told, it is the ones within our own borders that should concern us the most.  And the most powerful weapon is really green, crash a nation’ economy and you have a good chance of owning it,  exactly the actions of those who set off this firestorm except they are among us.   Chuck D and Public Enemy said it best in “Welcome to the Terrordome” and it’s always been a refrain I took to heart, staying with me over the years, from the school of tough love.  “It’s weak to speak and blame somebody else when you destroy yourself.”  From the looks of things 21st Century America is well on the way.
